Felt an urge to draw my OC mermaid: Lobnial.
The young mermaid girl looked around her carefully. No one was awake in the castle at the early hour and this was when she usually started preparing for her everyday chores.
Lobnial swam elegantly through the wide openings in the castle as she thought bitterly about this day. Today was her day of birth and no one was going to know. She did not intend for anyone to know, except for her and her sister.
The girl swam out of the castle through the opening that led to the beautiful garden of bright and decorative corals. She saw a pair of water snails that were frantically
eating at the corals and poked them hard on their "back" till they curled up in pain. She slightly regretted her actions but felt that she would rather look at a beautiful garden than at thousands of snails eating at the beauty.
After some time after swimming she arrived at her spot. Her own personal spot that no one knew of. It was a soul garden as she had named it and there her sister waited for her. She scooped up the tiny blueish white soul and started talking to it. She told her sister about her past year and laughed for her and her sister that she was living and was healthy with bright white eyes. She closed her eyes and hugged her sister close. "I wish so greatly that you were in this world with me, we could poke on snails and play hide and seek in the castle, without no one noticing of course..." She gave the soul a last gentle squeeze before letting it float amongst the other souls as she swam back to the castle to tend to her everyday chores.
